Vastness. Peace and quiet. Architecture that directs the gaze.
With this panorama sauna at the Fair Hotel Jena, Erdmann Sauna & Spa GmbH has created a space that uses clear lines and a well thought-out material concept to direct perception outwards. A sauna in which architecture and view merge into a single experience.
Design from a single source
The fine thermal strips run consistently through the entire room and create a calm, horizontal structure. The mitred corner benches and the precisely crafted shell strip benches underline the perfect craftsmanship and create a harmonious overall effect.
All elements interlock - without breaks, without distractions. The result is a "one-piece" design that conveys clarity and calm.
Architecture directs the view outwards
The lines of the wooden slats are deliberately designed to lead the guest's gaze into the distance. The transition between the interior and the landscape is fluid - the sauna opens up visually into the distance and makes the panorama a central part of the experience.
Dark wood as a grounding element
The dark wood gives the room depth and stability. It forms a calm counterpoint to the openness of the panoramic view and creates a balance between security and expanse.
Panorama perfectly staged
The combination of minimalist design, precise lines and targeted use of materials means that the view is not just visible - it is staged. The sauna becomes a frame for the landscape and reinforces the feeling of peace and relaxation.
